Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 30 OCTOBER 2026

Synca - Meeting Your People

This Privacy Policy explains how Synca (“we”, “us”, “our”), the operator of Synca - Meeting Your People (the “App” or “Platform”), collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal information when you access or use the App and its related services. Individual users are addressed as “you” and “your”. By using any part of the Platform, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy.

Synca is offered to users in the United States. We do not direct the App toward, market it to, or intentionally accept users from any other country. If you access the App from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and your information will be handled under this Policy and applicable U.S. law.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated when you use the App, and limited information received from service providers. We do not ask for information that is not reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Platform.

Information you provide

Information collected automatically

Information from platform features

Information we do not request. We do not ask for your Social Security number, government-issued identification number, full financial account number, health or medical records, or precise home address. Please do not send this information through the App, through messages to other users, or through support communications.

2. Device Permissions and Features

Synca requests device access only when a feature needs it. You can grant, withhold, or revoke permissions in your device settings. Withholding a permission affects only the feature that depends on it. Android may also display its own privacy indicators and controls; those are provided by the operating system, not by Synca.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information only for legitimate purposes connected to the Platform, including to:

Sale of personal information does not occur here, nor does its rental or its lease. Cross-context behavioral advertising receives nothing. Targeted advertising is not conducted at all. Profiling directed at decisions of legal or similarly significant effect is not undertaken.

4. Automated Matching, Ranking, and Safety

Synca uses automated systems to suggest profiles, rank content, calculate the Chemistry Score, and detect potentially abusive or prohibited activity. These systems help operate the App, but they do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects for you. The Chemistry Score is a feature of the App, not a guarantee of compatibility, safety, or any particular outcome.

We may review automated outputs when investigating a report, responding to a support request, or complying with law. We do not use your private messages or call content for advertising.

5. How We Share Information

We share personal information only as described in this Policy, with service providers that help us operate the App, when required by law, or at your direction.

Service providers

We use third-party providers for hosting, communications, payments, analytics, attribution, crash reporting, fraud prevention, and related services. These providers are bound by contracts that limit their use of personal information to the services they provide to us. Providers may include:

Other users

Your display name, profile information, photos, posts, comments, gifts, Chemistry Score, and the messages or contact details you choose to send are visible to the users you interact with or to other users of the App, depending on your settings and the feature. Once you send content or contact details to another user, that user may read, copy, save, or share it. We cannot recall content that a recipient has already received.

Legal and safety disclosures

We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to comply with a law, regulation, court order, or lawful government request; to protect the safety of any person; to investigate fraud or security issues; or to protect our rights, property, or the rights of our users.

Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy and applicable law.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Synca offers coins (also shown as Credits), gifts, Premium membership, Visitor subscription, and other paid features. Purchases are processed through Google Play. We receive purchase confirmation, product and order identifiers, and subscription status. We keep related transaction records to provide the purchased benefits and handle support requests.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required by law.

When you request account deletion, your account enters a seven-day recovery window. Signing back in during that window, or choosing to keep your account, cancels the request. After the window ends, we delete or de-identify the account data in active systems, subject to the retention exceptions described above.

8. Security

We use technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures may include encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring, and vendor review. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for the security of the device you use to access Synca.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to receive information about how we collect, use, and disclose it. You may also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right. To make a request, contact us at syncaandfeedback@syncaok.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, or retain; the right to delete personal information; the right to correct inaccurate personal information; the right to obtain a portable copy of certain information; and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

Sale and sharing. The statutory opt-out presupposes an underlying activity to opt out of. Here that activity is absent: nothing is sold, and nothing goes out for cross-context behavioral advertising. A request aimed at such an opt-out therefore meets nothing, and the same holds for a preference signal arriving from a browser or a device.

Sensitive personal information. Precise geolocation may be sensitive personal information under California law. We collect it only if you grant precise location permission, and we use it only to provide nearby discovery and distance features. You can disable location permission at any time or enter a ZIP code manually. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes beyond providing the service or as permitted by law.

Categories collected and disclosed in the preceding 12 months.

We disclose these categories to service providers for the purposes described in this Policy, to other users when you choose to share content or contact details, and to legal authorities when required by law. We do not sell these categories.

You may exercise your California rights by emailing syncaandfeedback@syncaok.com. You may use an authorized agent with written permission. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right, except where the law permits a difference that is reasonably related to the value of the information.

Other U.S. states

Residents of other states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising inside Synca. Requests may be sent to syncaandfeedback@syncaok.com. If your state provides an appeal process, you may appeal a refusal by replying to our response.

10. Age Requirement

Synca is intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a user is under 18, we may close the account and delete the associated information. If you believe a user is under 18, please report the account in the App or contact us at syncaandfeedback@syncaok.com.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, our practices, or applicable law. We will post the revised policy in the App or on our website and update the effective date. Continued use of Synca after the revised policy takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
